Job summary
Siemens Mobility is seeking an entry-level Systems Specialist to join our Morristown, NJ area team. You will assist in installing and commissioning building automation systems to serve customers throughout the greater New York City and northern New Jersey region.
You will help verify system databases, support programming, and interact with customers to ensure energy savings and sustainable outcomes. This role emphasizes safety, hands-on learning, and collaboration with mentors on a compressed
Qualifications
- Electro-mechanical and relay experience; capable with PC/software.
- Ability to work in varied environments including ladders and restricted spaces.
- Must be 18+ with a valid driver's license; eligible for Siemens fleet program.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
- Assist with commissioning new distributed digital control systems on construction sites; document progress.
- Plan work with mentor, Lead Technician, and Team Leader.
- Submit timely and accurate reports on time and expenses.

Our Systems Specialists participate in the installation, startup, and commissioning of building automation system equipment that has been newly installed and supports the verification of the system database and programming, ensuring consistency with the scope of work and sequence of operations. Our S ystems Specialists are the face of Siemens, and your expertise and regular interaction with the customer will help them save energy and money, as well as create a more sustainable future for our environment.
- Assistwith commissioning new distributed digital control systems on construction sites within planned timelines. Document commissioning details; communicate deficiencies and progress
- Plan work with mentor, Lead Technician, and Team Leader
- Submitaccuratetime and expense reports
- Work overtime when needed(Compressed schedule performance can be a factor and will require extended hours to meet commitments)
- Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures
Basic Qualifications:
- Electro-mechanical & relay experience (either ina previousrole or through education) and user PC/software skill
- Abilityand willingnessto work in a variety of circumstances, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, andhigh liftequipment; working in ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, above ceilings, and in various conditions
- Must be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet as well as able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Experience withMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Abilityand willingnessto work overtime as needed
- Must be 18 years of age andpossessa valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements toparticipatein Siemens' fleet vehicle program
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or state-recognized GED
- HVAC exposure

The pay range for this position is $50,837 - $87,149 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
