Our Service Specialists execute tasks on automation systems, including service agreement maintenance, project work, and on-call services. They respond to emergency calls during scheduled hours and after hours as needed. As the face of Siemens, your expertise and interactions with customers will help save energy and money, contributing to a sustainable future.

As a Service Specialist, you will:
  • Execute digitalization and standard service operations strategies
  • Collaborate with internal service teams including Service Sales, Client Service Managers, Service Coordinators, and the RAM Digital Service Center
  • Follow safety requirements and complete required training
  • Adhere to policies, coordinate with contractors, maintain tools and test equipment
  • Support after-hours service calls and perform repairs on automation systems
  • Complete service tickets and maintain preventive maintenance schedules
  • Document services and generate reports using Siemens tools
  • Train and instruct customer personnel on system operations
  • Identify system discrepancies, suggest upgrades, and assist in pricing repairs and upgrades
  • Participate in job site final walks and system handovers
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
  • 1+ years’ experience with electronic control or HVAC equipment
  • Electro-mechanical experience and PC/software skills
  • Ability to work in various physical conditions and heights
  • Ability to use hand tools, laptops, and mobile devices, and lift up to 75 pounds
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to work overtime and on-call
  • Must be 18+, hold a valid driver’s license, and be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Specialized training/certification
  • Experience with building automation, PLCs, HVAC, electrical concepts, and building operations
  • Background in engineering or programming (PLC or BMS)
  • Knowledge of communication protocols like BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP
