Job summary

Evergreen Talent Partners seeks a Building Automation Project Sales Representative to drive revenue growth through BAS solutions for commercial and industrial clients in Las Vegas, NM. You will identify opportunities, develop retrofit solutions, manage customer relationships, and deliver projects that improve facility performance and energy efficiency.

You will generate new business, maintain a robust sales pipeline in CRM, prepare cost estimates, and present compelling financial justifications

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in HVAC, Construction Sciences, Engineering Technology, or related field; equivalent journeyman experience considered.
  • 4+ years of experience with HVAC, mechanical, electrical, or building automation systems.
  • 2+ years of CRM and business development experience.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and selling retrofit, modernization, upgrade, or replacement projects.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC controls, building automation systems, and energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sell building automation, controls, and energy management solutions to commercial and industrial clients.
  • Evaluate existing HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems to identify opportunities for upgrades, modernization, and replacement projects.
  • Understand system operations, energy consumption, sustainability initiatives, and operational inefficiencies.
  • Interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, equipment layouts, and jobsite conditions.
  • Conduct site surveys to identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Recommend repairs, modifications, retrofits, and system replacements based on customer objectives and facility requirements.
  • Generate new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and forecast using CRM software.
  • Manage project opportunities from prospecting through contract award.
  • Cross-sell building automation, mechanical services, controls, and maintenance solutions.
  • Develop retrofit opportunities through plan-and-spec projects and direct customer engagement.
  • Maintain a consistent backlog of quotations to support sales goals.
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to determine project scope.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates including labor, materials, subcontractors, equipment, and resources.
  • Develop customized solutions that align technical requirements with customer budgets and business objectives.
  • Create financial justifications for projects, including energy savings and return-on-investment analyses.
  • Generate pricing and proposals in accordance with company standards and approved margins.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Building Automation Project Sales Representative to drive revenue growth through the development and sale of Building Automation System (BAS) solutions for both new and existing clients. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities, developing customized retrofit and modernization solutions, managing customer relationships, and delivering projects that improve facility performance, energy efficiency, and operational reliability.

Key Responsibilities -
Building Automation & HVAC Solutions
  • Develop and sell building automation, controls, and energy management solutions to commercial and industrial clients.
  • Evaluate existing HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems to identify opportunities for upgrades, modernization, and replacement projects.
  • Understand system operations, energy consumption, sustainability initiatives, and operational inefficiencies.

  • Represent the company professionally while maintaining long-term client partnerships.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in HVAC, Construction Sciences, Engineering Technology, or related field; equivalent journeyman experience considered.
  • 4+ years of experience with HVAC, mechanical, electrical, or building automation systems.
