Job summary

Bosch Building Technologies North America is seeking a technical lead in Irving, TX to develop custom DDC logic using Alerton VisualLogic and configure high-level GUI workstations in Compass/Envision. You’ll integrate third-party protocols and tune software to meet project specs and budget goals.

You will design BAS projects, provide AutoCAD/Visio design labor, create detailed sequences of operations, configure BACnet workstations, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring interoperability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years HVAC design and graphics and/or building automation systems design or graphics.
• 2+ years direct experience programming Alerton Systems (Visual Logic and Compass).
• Knowledge of Ibex, Envision, and Compass.
• Proficient with AutoCAD/Visio and MS Office.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical plans.

Responsibilities

• Design Building Automation Controls to meet contract scope and budget.
• Provide AutoCAD/Visio Bosch design labor and direction for DDC code, GUI, and documents.
• Develop and implement custom control logic using Alerton VisualLogic.
• Design and configure Alerton Compass/Envision for BACnet workstations.
• Integrate third-party devices via BACnet IP/MSTP, Modbus, or LonWorks.
• Checklist and tune software for real-world conditions.
• Prepare BOMs and maintain design documentation.
• Mentor level 1 engineers and support project teams.
• Assist sales during estimation with design inputs.
