This employment opportunity is for a full-time position that primarily involves working at the customer's location. The technician's main responsibility will be servicing and maintaining EcoStruxure Direct Digital Control systems manufactured by Schneider Electric. As the technician gains experience, they will also participate in transition and software update projects. This work may include handling Schneider’s legacy product lines, such as TAC, I/Net, Tridium Niagara, IA, and Andover Continuum. While experience with any of these systems is beneficial, it is not required. CS&E will provide training on the Schneider systems, but applicants must have prior experience in control systems.

Job Requirements:

  • Three years of prior experience servicing and/or starting up commercial building automation systems.
  • Understanding different types of mechanical systems.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in control calibration and testing tools
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to understand control and mechanical drawings, sequence of operation, electrical schematics, and circuitry.
  • Flexible working overtime/weekends when needed to meet customers’ deadlines or requirements.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of BACnet control systems.
  • Strong IT background
  • Prior experience in control programming and creating/modifying graphics.
  • Physically capable of climbing stairs and ladders.
  • Current U.S. Citizen
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
  • Must be able to pass Pennsylvania background checks (Act 33, 34 & 73)
