Job summary

Corteva Agriscience seeks a Building Controls Technician to join our Indianapolis, IN site. The technician will operate and maintain building systems, including boilers, chillers, air handlers, and Building Management Systems, working with facility staff, engineers, and vendors.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in building automation, strong electrical/control knowledge, and experience with HVAC controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with building automation or facility controls systems.
• Experience troubleshooting HVAC controls and automated building systems.
• Working knowledge of electrical control systems, instrumentation, pneumatics, actuated valves, etc.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain building systems including boilers, chillers, air handlers, exhausters, water treatment systems, and Building Management Systems.
• Investigate and resolve Building Automation System alarms, communication failures, and control system issues.
• Maintain accurate control system graphics, point databases, and network documentation.
• Troubleshoot sensors, actuators, dampers, valves, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and control devices.
