Job summary

Jobtailor in Connecticut seeks a Building Automation Systems Technician to design, program, and configure BAS with site-specific controls and algorithms. You’ll create clear design documents, document revisions, and develop graphical interfaces for BAS.

Testing and technical support to sales will be part of the role. Applicants should have HVAC/Building Automation experience; familiarity with IP networks, Visio, and Automated Logic is a plus.

Qualifications

• HVAC/building automation experience required or preferred.
• Travel up to 20% may be needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and program building automation systems and site-specific controls.
• Adhere to project requirements and company standards for design and programming.
• Create design documents with technical information for project teams.
• Document and communicate system design and revisions.
• Develop graphical and text interfaces for BAS.
• Test programming and interfaces before implementation.
• Provide technical support to sales to meet customer needs.
• Identify project opportunities and risks.
• Support functional testing for building systems.
