Job summary

Gateway Church is seeking a Building Attendant responsible for event setups, general housekeeping, and ensuring the facility is maintained in excellent condition. Multi-task position involving full knowledge of all Event Setups for Gateway Church as well as general housekeeping and basic floor care. The position requires the ability to generate, read, and implement requests from the PCO and Help Desk Ticket systems.

  1. Open /close building
  2. Complete Setups for events in a timely manner
  3. Assist with deliveries from the dock
  4. Monitor areas during wet and/or icy weather and take action to reduce slipping accidents
  5. Set out/pick up traffic cones before/after weekend services
  6. Check PCO report daily and attach to Evernote for setup of classes/events
  7. Monitor restrooms/lobbies daily during shift, cleaning as needed
  8. Install banners and other materials as needed per Media requests
  9. Communicate all important information such as events, vendors, ministry changes, emergencies, maintenance issues, and schedule changes to Oversight
  10. Assist in maintaining a clean building at all times
  11. Assist in maintaining clean supply/equipment rooms as well as housekeeping carts
  12. Assist with trash removal
  13. Assist with basic floor care throughout - vacuuming, scrubbing, burnishing (tile, carpet, concrete, etc.)
