BUILDING AND GROUNDS (Sanitation) Perishable Warehouse - 3rd shift

Summary: Keeps warehouse clean, free of clutter, spills, and debris.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Cleans warehouse and outside buildings, parking lots, and the property perimeter.
• Mops, sweeps, and scrubs warehouse floors and walls.
• Empties trash cans and bins.
• Cleans offices and restrooms.
• Cleans pick slots and under racking.
• Works safely with approved chemicals and equipment such as sweepers, scrubbers, forklifts, balers, compactors, pressure washers, and pallet jacks.
• Properly scans and processes damaged orphan cases and reclaim items.
• Properly processes plastic and cardboard for recycling.
• Follows company policies and safety procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred; or 1-3 months related experience or equivalent education and experience.

Skills: Ability to read, write, perform basic math, and apply common sense understanding to instructions. Knowledge of TRICEPS system and ability to pass Industrial Equipment Certification Test.

Other Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old. No supervisory responsibilities. Work environment involves exposure to wet/humid conditions, extreme temperatures, vibration, moving mechanical parts, toxic chemicals, and outdoor weather. Noise level is moderate to loud. Physical demands include frequently lifting/moving up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and other physical activities.
