Job description

Job Title: Building/Forklift Maintenance Assistant
Schedule: M-F, 5:30am-2pm
Pay: $20.00/hour

1. Assist in maintaining and repairing warehouse equipment such as conveyors, forklifts, dock doors, and pallet jacks.

2. Perform basic mechanical tasks, including replacing belts, lubricating moving parts, and changing filters.

3. Inspect machinery regularly and report any irregularities or mechanical issues.

4. Support the installation and assembly of new equipment or systems.

5. Maintain a clean and organized work area and tools.

6. Ensure tools and equipment are properly cleaned, stored, and returned after use.

7. Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.

8. Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.

9. Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance calls.

10. Assist with general facility upkeep, such as light plumbing, painting, or minor electrical tasks.
