Hadrian in Torrance, CA is seeking a Software Engineer for builder tools to advance CI/CD infrastructure and internal tooling used by all Hadrian engineers. You will own shared pipeline libraries and automate workflows that speed up development across teams.

This high‑leverage role touches every engineer; you’ll help expose internal systems to AI coding agents, reduce toil, and contribute to scalable tooling as the Builder Tools team grows.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining complex CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong programming fundamentals in Go, Python, or TypeScript.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
• Solid Git and source control understanding.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Developer empathy mindset for easy‑to‑adopt tools.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipeline libraries for multiple teams.
• Design and build internal tools, APIs, and CLI utilities.
• Prepare internal systems for AI coding agents.
• Instrument and monitor developer productivity systems.
• Collaborate with application teams to drive tooling adoption.
• Join on-call rotation and contribute to root cause analyses.
• Participate in code reviews and technical proposals.
