Job summary

International Erosion Control Association in Longwood, FL is seeking a Project Manager–General Contractor to drive a commercial building project from early pricing and planning through turnover and final closeout.

You will partner with estimating, manage budgets and constructability, and lead trade partner selection, scheduling, and project controls while coordinating with field leadership, design teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of commercial construction experience with GC or similar environment.
• Substantial field exposure and the ability to connect onsite realities with office planning and controls.
• Experience overseeing commercial projects across estimating, preconstruction, execution, turnover and closeout.
• Strong command of construction methods, sequencing, coordination, contracts, subcontracts and cost control.
• Proficiency with construction management platforms and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Own commercial building projects from early pricing and planning through turnover and closeout.
• Collaborate with estimating to shape budgets and evaluate constructability.
• Lead trade partner selection, scoping, purchasing and subcontract execution.
• Build and manage project schedules and coordinate field activities to keep work moving.
• Maintain visibility into budgets, forecasts, billings, and overall project performance.
• Direct RFIs, submittals, change management and pay applications.
