Job summary

David Weekley Homes is seeking a skilled Builder in Raleigh, NC to oversee residential construction from ground-breaking to completion. You will manage 30+ subcontractors, ensure on-time, high-quality delivery, and maintain strong homeowner relationships to guarantee exceptional satisfaction.

You will collaborate with Sales, Warranty and Office teams, monitor budgets, and uphold safety and quality standards on a clean, organized site.

Qualifications

  • Residential construction experience; 2+ years of field management preferred.
  • Ability to schedule, supervise, and motivate trade partners while upholding standards of quality, safety, and craftsmanship.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building with homeowners, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills; able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer proficiency to handle job costing, payroll and communications with vendors and internal teams.
  • College degree or related professional experience preferred.

Job Description

As a Builder at David Weekley Homes, you’ll take pride in building more than homes; you’ll be building communities. In this role, you will oversee subcontractors, manage the entire residential construction process from start to finish, and ensure a fantastic experience for our customers with your commitment to excellence. We’re looking for a proactive communicator who takes ownership and keeps both homeowners and our teams delighted through the process.

What You’ll Do
