Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Freeport, IL is seeking a Builder 2 to assemble equipment and sub-assemblies according to daily production plans. You will follow instructions from the Line Supervisor, perform customizations as needed, and verify quality through self-inspection and final checks.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in assembly and building equipment using common hand tools.
• Follow verbal and written work instructions and daily production plan.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned task.
• Independently build equipment or sub-assemblies to fulfill the daily production schedule.
• Perform customization under guidance from the Line Supervisor, Line Lead, or Trainer.
• Self-inspection and verification of all work performed.
• Meet the Secondary Inspection process to pass Final Inspection on first pass.
• Troubleshoot fit and function issues and wiring connections.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain clean and organized work environment.
• Prepare equipment for Secondary Inspection.
• Complete documentation following GDP.
• Daily cleanup 5 minutes before the end of shift.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Details: Job Location: Freeport (IL) - Freeport, IL, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $20.00 - $22.00Hourly, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Manufacturing, Builder 2 follows directions and instructions from the Line Supervisor, Line Lead, or the Trainer. If an instructed task cannot be performed as instructed or completed by following the Standard Work Instruction the Builder 2 must notify the Line Supervisor or Line Lead. Under the guidance of the Line Supervisor, Line Lead, or Trainer Builder 2 is allowed to perform tasks that deviate from the standard instruction process when customization is required. Follow verbal and written work instructions. Independently follow the daily production plan. High attention to detail is also a requirement for the Builder 2 position.

Daily Duties and Task:

• Follow assigned task
• Independently build equipment or sub-assemblies to fulfill the daily production schedule
• Perform customization task under the Under the guidance of the Line Supervisor, Line Lead, or Trainer
• Self-Inspection and verification of all work performed
• Ability to perform the Secondary Inspection process that will pass Final Inspection at first pass
• Ability to independently trouble shoot fit and function issues and wiring connections
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Maintain clean and organized work environment
• Clean and prepare equipment for Secondary Inspection
• Complete documentation following GDP
• Daily cleanup 5 minutes before the end of shift
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in assembly and building equipment using common hand tools that include: Cordless Drill, Nut Driver, Screwdriver, Handheld Snips or Cutters, Wrenches, and Sockets.
