Job summary

Intertek is seeking an entry-level Builder for its Building & Construction team in York, PA. You will participate in construction and demolition of mock-up test assemblies, prepare specimens, and assist with client product installations while following project drawings and procedures.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, reading technical docs, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A valid driver’s license and willingness to pass pre-employment screening are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and installation procedures.
• Knowledge of equipment and tools used in building construction.
• Commercial construction experience desired.
• Proficiency in interpreting construction plans and installation instructions.
• Ability to follow direction and work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend down, climb ladders, reach overhead and work at heights up to 60 feet.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment check.
