Job summary

Acronis is seeking a senior Build/DevOps Engineer to own and evolve a large multi-language build system. You will design end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, manage release artifacts, and automate tooling across Linux environments and containerized builds.

You will ensure reproducible builds, manage signing and SBOM data, and coordinate with engineering teams to enable rapid, reliable releases. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in build, release or DevOps for complex software products with ownership of a build system
• Strong CI/CD engineering and pipelines as code via Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Experience packaging and distributing binaries on Linux with artifact signing and channels
• Ability to read, fix and take over build definitions across multiple languages and tools
• Understanding of dependency/version management, hermetic builds, and build caching
• Strong Python and shell scripting for tooling and automation
• Proficient in Linux, containers and config management
• Experience with branching and release models for multiple concurrent releases
• Familiarity with software supply chain practices: SBOM, signing, vulnerability scanning
• AI-assisted engineering experience is a plus
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the build system for a multi-language product
• Build and maintain end-to-end pipelines and artifacts
• Assemble and validate release deliverables for several release lines
• Develop and operate the release pipeline with gating and rollouts
• Keep builds reproducible with dependency and toolchain upgrades
• Maintain traceability: versioning, SBOM, licenses
• Automate build tooling in Python and shell and integrate with VCS
• Support developers with fast self-service builds and diagnostics
• Extend CI/CD coverage and environment promotions
• Own build infrastructure including hosts, images and storage
• Investigate and fix complex build failures at root cause
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling for development, debugging and research
• Document processes for reproducibility and knowledge sharing
• Communicate status and risks to engineering leadership
