Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Must have a WSP/FBI fingerprint background clearance check.
• Must have a valid First Aid/CPR Certification Card.
• Meet the WIAA coaching standard criteria.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership and organization for all levels of the assigned sport/activity.
• Provide direct ongoing supervision of all athletes, manage practices, games, travel and other school events.
• Develop objectives for the sport/activity and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Maintain knowledge of league and district rules related to the sport/activity.
• Report injuries and violations to appropriate staff and maintain communications with parents.
• Organize parent meetings and provide ongoing communication throughout the season.
