Job summary

Build AI in the United States is seeking an on-ground operations lead to develop and scale our data collection system across regions. You will build and manage local sales teams, run campaigns, and establish partnerships with businesses and other stakeholders.

This is a fast-paced, result-focused role requiring hands-on execution and travel. The position offers the chance to join a small, highly driven team and contribute to early market launches and strategic growth initiatives.

Just as OpenAI/Anthropic are solving knowledge work by training on the internet and Tesla is solving self-driving by training on 300M hrs of driving data, Build will solve physical labor by collecting then training on the largest dataset of skilled manual work. In the last 3 months with a team of 20, we’ve scaled from 0 - $100M annualized revenue.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. You will operate on-ground, developing, mastering, and scaling each part of the data collection system. You are not a paper-manager, overseeing operations.
2. You will identify opportunities and regions for expansion and execute the launch strategy independently, going from 0 to 1 to 100. This includes building exceptional local sales teams (both door to door and cold calling), running meta ads or UGC, sending mass cold outbounds, and establishing partnerships with local businessmen, politicians, and enterprises.
