THE JOB:
The Host/Cashier serves as the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a seamless seating experience. This role is responsible for representing the Buffet's brand, assisting with guest interactions, and supporting service staff by managing table assignments and information.

THE STARTING RATE: $17.20

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Welcome guests upon arrival, verify any applicable comps, points, or rewards, and efficiently process payment transactions using the POS system.

• Assess party size and any special seating requests, coordinating with the team to guide guests to their tables.

• Express appreciation to guests as they depart, assisting with any final inquiries or needs.

• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the cashier station, dining area, and service stations.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

• Has flexibility to swing shift and weekends

• Is at least 18 years old

• Comfortable performing physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and balancing for extended periods.

• Have previous cashiering experience (preferred)
