Position Summary

A Buffet Attendant is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a buffet service in various establishments such as hotels, restaurants, or catering events. The position involves duties that guarantee a positive dining experience for guests, including maintaining a well-stocked, clean, and welcoming buffet environment.

This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00-$17.00 and is tip eligible.

This position remains open until August 15, 2025.

Responsibilities

1. Arrange and set up buffet tables with an appealing and organized presentation of food items, ensuring proper placement and hygiene standards.
2. Monitor and replenish food items regularly to maintain freshness and presentation standards throughout service.
3. Greet and assist guests, answer questions about the menu, and provide recommendations.
4. Ensure positive and friendly interactions with customers.
5. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the buffet area, including sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and serving equipment.
6. Keep track of food inventory, restock as needed, and communicate with kitchen staff to ensure continuous supply.
7. Monitor food quality, ensuring safety and hygiene standards are met.
8. Promptly remove expired or questionable items.
9. If applicable, handle payments and cash transactions accurately.
10. Adhere to all company policies, health and safety regulations, and food handling guidelines.
