Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Part-Time Restaurant/Server assistant at The Falls Church location. The role supports food servers by clearing, resetting tables, delivering beverages, and maintaining station cleanliness to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Food Handler Card or in the process of being certified.
• Knowledge of State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Basic knowledge of the English language sufficient to understand inquiries from customers and communicate simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clear dirty table settings and reset tables per standards.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods.
• Serve guests with beverages, breads and butter, and replenish as needed.
• Transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area for cleaning.
• Perform general cleaning tasks per health standards.
• Assist servers in the delivery of orders and pre-busing tables.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions and accidents.
