Big Boy Restaurants Beechmont, OH seeks a Buffet/Prep Attendant to join our team. You will ensure food quality, follow recipes, maintain item rotation, and communicate with guests to deliver great service.

Role emphasizes safety, sanitation, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. In-person work at Cincinnati area location. Competitive wages, training, meal discounts, and advancement opportunities are offered.

Buffet/Prep Attendant Responsibilities

• Ensures the highest quality of food arrives to each guest by following exact specifications and recipes.
• Ensures freshness, temperature control, quality and rotation of each buffet item at all times.
• Maintains a thorough knowledge of menu items, recipes, specifications and procedures to ensure food quality standards are met with every item served.
• Maintains a safe and sanitary environment for proper food storage, preparation and handling, following every health guideline and procedure at all times.
• Properly communicates with co‑workers regarding buffet needs and maintenance, and answers all guest questions knowledgeably.
• Maintains safety and sanitation standards in the restaurant and keeps the buffet and work area clean and organized.
• Maintains a professional appearance, adhering to uniform standards at all times.

Buffet/Prep Attendant Job Skills

• Able to remain on your feet for long periods of time
• Bending, reaching and climbing stairs
• Ability to work under pressure
• Walking in and out of refrigerated and freezer areas
• Sufficient strength and agility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
