JOB PURPOSE:

The primary purpose of this position is to create a unique and personal experience for Buffalo Wild Wings Guests by effectively presenting food and beverage options in an informative, friendly, and enthusiastic manner.

Bartender: This Team Member blends enthusiasm, attention to detail, and knowledge of our extensive food and beverage options. You are expected to create a personal connection with each Guest, fostering loyalty through engaging conversations about sports, beverage pairings, and promotional programs. Educate, inform, entertain, and engage with a positive attitude to encourage repeat visits.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• This is a part-time position, averaging 29 hours or less per week. After a 12-month review, if you work 30 or more hours weekly, you may be eligible for company medical benefits. Full-time expectations are 36-40 hours per week.
• Make personal connections with Guests to foster loyalty through engaging conversations.
• Participate in the Company’s Mystery Shop, GEM, and BARS programs. Follow company standards for the BARS program, including IDing anyone who looks under 40 years old to verify age for alcohol consumption.
• Read and organize tickets to serve Guests efficiently, managing large crowds effectively.
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Buffalo Wild Wings standards and procedures.
• Replace kegs and restock bottles and alcohol as needed.
• Monitor and manage bar inventory and control costs, including tracking waste as per company standards.
• Maintain proper inventory levels of stemware, glassware, garnishes, etc., and ensure items are cleaned and sterilized.
• Take food and beverage orders from serving staff and Guests directly.
• Process guest payments accurately according to company procedures.
• Take precautions to limit problems related to excessive drinking and liability.
• Keep the bar area, equipment, and tools clean and sanitary.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the MOD.
• Support opening and closing duties to maintain cleanliness, with pay adjustments for tasks outside of standard bar or serving duties that take more than 10 minutes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, with pay rates determined by the nature of the task.
