Job summary

FSA Federal is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the USDA mission through general financial management and budgetary oversight. The role includes reviewing invoices for seized assets, analyzing trends, and preparing revenue and expense reports. Strong Excel and communication skills are required to coordinate with teams and ensure accuracy in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field or HS diploma with additional experience.
• 1.5 years' experience in accounting/finance.
• Experience with an enterprise financial system.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with minimal supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office, incl. Excel; pivot tables/advanced data handling.
• Attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Customer-service mindset and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provides general financial management and budgetary support.
• Conducts accounting functions related to seized and forfeited assets, reviewing invoices and receipts.
• Monitors and reviews reports related to seized and forfeited asset accounts.
• Performs program-specific analysis and liaison functions to support budget execution and financial reporting.
• Analyzes data and trends to develop revenue and expense reports.
• Reviews reprogramming requests of clients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
