Guidehouse supports CFO Front Offices throughout the Intelligence Community (IC) with Advisory Services, advancing government objectives across a range of financial management and systems challenges.
We seek an experienced consultant to join our team, leveraging deep expertise in Federal, IC, and Department of War (DoW) budget policies, processes, and systems; Federal financial accounting requirements; and business process improvement best practices. This role is pivotal in understanding the multiple paths to executing federal funds, diagnosing current challenges and opportunities, and developing innovative solutions that span organizational boundaries. Specific solutions will help: Evaluate and map current and future system architectures across IC, DoW, OMB, and Treasury, supporting modernization of NIP funds flow. Define requirements for system updates and process changes, ensuring alignment with mission needs and regulatory standards. Document and address systems security and vulnerability requirements in partnership with financial management and counterintelligence teams. Collaborate with stakeholders to chart pathways and interfaces for financial systems, supporting seamless integration and modernization. Identify, document, and analyze existing processes within IC CFO and broader IC, driving Sponsor-defined process improvement initiatives. Apply process mapping, gap analysis, and root cause assessment to uncover non-value-added activities and recommend actionable improvements. Assess legacy system conversion requirements, reporting and transparency needs, and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders for audit, financial, resource, CI, and systems management.
The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
