California Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC) in Sacramento County is seeking a Fiscal Services Analyst to support the Fiscal Services Division with budget development, monitoring, analysis, and reporting. The position offers a permanent full-time opportunity with a salary range shown as $6,031.00 - $7,547.00 A, and the candidate will be hired at the minimum for new state

Qualifications

• Ability to reason logically and use analytical techniques to solve difficult problems.
• Knowledge of governmental budgeting, procedures and related laws, rules, and regulations.
• Experience in budget development, including preparation and review of Budget Change Proposals (BCPs) and Budget Change Concepts.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing policies and procedures to promote consistency, efficiency, and compliance.
• Ability to conduct fiscal analysis, evaluate fiscal impacts, and develop sound fiscal impact recommendations to support management decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Perform fiscal activities related to budget development and maintenance, fiscal monitoring, analysis, reporting, and planning for the Fiscal Services Division.
• Provide metrics, risk and issue analysis, administrative support and guidance to management and others.
• Assist in general fiscal analysis and provide technical assistance as needed.
