Gfoat is seeking a Budget Coordinator in the Finance department to lead the development, implementation, and oversight of city budgets. You will work with multiple departments to resolve funding issues, manage budget transfers and amendments, and drive KPI-based reporting for annual budget delivery.
The role requires strong government budgeting experience, proficiency with budget software, and effective communication to present data and support decision-makers.

Strong government finance budgeting background is required to handle the processing of creating, implementing and maintaining various budgets. Advanced analysis and development of City budgets, budget amendments, performance measures/key performance indicators, goals and objectives. Work with various to departments to resolve budget and funding issues and respond to budget and financial requests. Perform oversight functions by inputting data into the city’s budget software system, compiling reports and presenting data.
Strong technical aptitude with various software applications in order to handle data from multiple sources, primarily Excel and Outlook.
Ability to multi-task in a high volume fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and follow up on issues.
Problem-solving skills, with attention to details and accuracy is required.
