Job Title: Budget and Financial Reporting Specialist

This role involves utilizing your budget administration experience to assist with various phases of budget preparation, analysis, and monitoring.

In this pivotal position, you will oversee the financial health of Pennie by managing multiple budgets across calendar and fiscal years, working directly with the Director of Administration to develop and implement strategic financial plans that support our mission of accessible healthcare for all Pennsylvanians.

Your daily responsibilities include developing and monitoring annual budgets, preparing detailed financial reports, and providing strategic insights to guide organizational decisions. You will collaborate with Program Area Managers and Directors to ensure accurate budget planning and execution, while strictly adhering to fiscal policies and GAAP standards.

Additional Details
  • Work Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch
  • Travel: Periodic travel within and outside Pennsylvania may be required
  • Telework: Potential for full-time remote work from Pennsylvania with a secure high-speed internet connection; otherwise, reporting to Harrisburg headquarters
  • Salary: Starting at $80,000 annually for new employees to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

Qualifications
  • Two years as a Fiscal Management Specialist or Administrative Officer (or equivalent federal role), with SAP Analysis and Business Warehouse experience, or
  • Four years of professional financial and budget administration experience, including SAP Analysis and Business Warehouse experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and education

  • Residency in or willingness to relocate to Pennsylvania
  • Ability to perform essential job functions
