Job summary

First Roles is seeking a Budget Analyst for the Budget Execution Branch at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. This TERM appointment covers up to 13 months and focuses on ensuring data integrity and alignment with financial objectives.

You will review and analyze data, identify trends, prepare executive summaries, and manage the Defense Travel System and Travel Card programs. The role requires careful attention to detail and strong analytical skills in a federal context.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, verifies, and analyzes data for consistency with financial and program objectives.
• Identifies trends and coordinates analysis with supervisor, recommending reprogramming or referrals as appropriate.
• Reviews Headquarters Operating Budgets and aligns programmed resources with budget estimate and identifies/reconciles differences.
• Prepares Fiscal summaries in the form of computer graphics, composes various executive summaries, information and decision papers.
• Administers Headquarters' Defense Travel System and Government Travel Card Programs.
