Position Title: Budget Analyst

Position Overview

OMNI is seeking a Budget Analyst to support Department of the Air Force and Space Force programs through Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) activities. The selected candidate will provide budget planning, financial execution, acquisition reporting, and funds management support to program leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support PPBE activities, including Program Objective Memorandum (POM) development, budget formulation, and budget execution.
  • Prepare and brief budget exhibits, Staffer Day materials, Spring Program Reviews (SPR), Investment Budget Reviews, and Program Management Reviews (PMRs).
  • Conduct financial analysis, reconcile data across multiple systems, and develop recommendations for leadership.
  • Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) with acquisition reporting, cash flow management, and financial execution activities.
  • Perform funds management using Department of the Air Force financial systems, including the Comprehensive Cost and Requirements (CCAR) tool.
  • Develop staffing packages, reports, and process improvements to improve efficiency and decision‑making.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting DoD, Air Force, or Space Force programs in PPBE, budget analysis, acquisition financial management, or budget execution.
  • Experience using the Comprehensive Cost and Requirements (CCAR) tool is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Active Secret security clearance required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
