The Louisiana Supreme Court is seeking a Budget Accountant to assist in ensuring that financial resources are effectively planned and managed in accordance with applicable state laws, policies, regulations, and Supreme Court procedures. This position works closely with judicial and administrative departments to develop and monitor budgets, analyze expenditures and financial trends, prepare reports and forecasts, and provide reliable financial information to support administrative and operational decisions. This position will also coordinate requests for fiscal notes, be involved with testing the court’s enterprise resource planning software, and function as the backup to the property management function. The Budget Accountant works under the general supervision of the Deputy Judicial Administrator - Chief Financial Officer.
