Job summary

Penn Line Tree Service, Inc. is seeking a Bucket Operator to assist with clearing and removal of trees along electrical power lines and right-of-ways. You will operate a bucket truck to reach branches and may climb trees using climbing equipment while handling saws and chippers.

A minimum of 6 months’ bucket experience is required; CDL or valid driver license is preferred. Travel across multiple states is required, with varied 4- to 10-hour shifts and periods of mandatory overtime.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months verifiable experience trimming out of a bucket or operating a bucket in utility or residential line clearance.
• CDL license or valid driver license preferred.
• Pesticide license is beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clearing and removal of trees along electrical power lines and right-of-ways.
• Operate an aerial lift device (bucket truck) to reach branches interfering with electric lines.
• Operate chain saws, pruners, and a brush chipper; climb trees using climbing equipment if required.
