Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Bucket Operator (CDL Required) to assist with clearing and removing trees along power lines and rights-of-way. You will operate a bucket truck to reach branches near energized lines and ensure safe work practices.

The role is full-time, non-exempt, with hourly pay and union-driven expectations. Candidates must meet physical requirements and pass pre-employment checks as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position; no prior tree-trimming experience required.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required for the role.
• Must be able to lift and carry objects and operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns, directs, and coordinates work on job sites.
• Obtains permission from property owners and coordinates access for tree trimming.
• Promotes safe work practices and maintains customer relations.
• Operates bucket trucks and related equipment near energized lines.
• Trains new personnel and ensures clean-up of debris after work.
