Job summary

Lucas Tree Experts in Lexington, SC is seeking a motivated Bucket Operator to perform utility line clearance arboriculture in a full-time outdoor role. You will operate a bucket truck and participate in physical labor at varying heights.

We provide on-the-job training and opportunities to earn industry certifications with wage increases, plus a competitive benefits package including a 401(k). Eligibility requires 18+, HS diploma or GED, Class B CDL, and a pre-employment screen.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Bucket Truck.
• Must be able to work 45 hours weekly.
• Must have Class B CDL.
• Must be 18 years of age with a High School Diploma/GED/or equivalent.
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to obtain and maintain licenses & certifications as required by the position (paid for by Lucas Tree Experts).

Responsibilities

• Manual removal of vegetation from work areas and assisting with line clearance.
• Running various forestry equipment, pruning, and removals.

This is a full time, year-round, outdoor, physical labor opportunity. Duties include: manual removal of vegetation from work areas, running various forestry equipment, performing line clearance, pruning, and removals.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience operating a Bucket Truck.

Must be able to work 45 hours weekly.

Must have Class B CDL required.

Must be 18 years of age with a High School Diploma/GED/or equivalent.

Must have a current and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
Must be able to work outside in various types of weather.

Must be physically able to perform the requirements of the position (i.e., walk on uneven grounds, carry 75 lbs.)

Must be willing to work at varying heights.

Must be willing and able to learn how to run a bucket truck & operate equipment safely.
Must be willing and able to obtain, and maintain licenses & certifications as required by the position in order to grow your career (this is paid for by Lucas Tree Experts).
Must be able to successfully complete a post offer physical & drug screen as well as a background and motor vehicle check.
