Yelp is seeking a Campus Ambassador at Boston University to help students explore locally and engage with the campus community. This part‑time, hourly, fixed‑term role runs Jan–Dec 2027, about 10 hours per week, with the chance to collaborate with ambassadors nationwide and gain hands-on brand experience.

You’ll plan events, create social content, build campus guides, and partner with student clubs. The role rewards initiative, creativity, and reliable balancing of coursework.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a student at Boston University and plan to remain enrolled through December 2027.
• Live within 30 minutes of BU campus housing.
• Available to work 10 hours per week through end of 2027.
• Genuine passion for helping people discover and support local businesses.
• A natural leader and planner among peers, clubs, teams, or dorms.

Responsibilities

• Plan and host 2-3 Yelp events or experiences each semester for university students.
• Create original content for Yelp’s social channels.
• Build local guides and inspire students to discover and spread the word about their favorite businesses on Yelp.
• Partner with university clubs and organizations to promote the Yelp community.
• Develop creative, grassroots marketing ideas that get students talking about Yelp.
• Join regular check-ins with the Yelp U program lead and share event results and campus insights.
