Job summary

TASKids is seeking a Behavior Therapist/RBT for East/South San Jose, Campbell, and Santa Clara areas. Full-time hours from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM with a $500 ABA sign-on bonus after 90 days.

Responsibilities include providing behavioral therapy to children, travel between client homes, and recording progress. Requirements include a BA/BS preferred with 1 year working with children, RBT certification readiness, and reliable transportation with CA license/insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience with young children infant to 3 years in preschool/daycare/nanny settings.
• BA/BS preferred with 1 year experience.
• Afternoons availability across multiple days; 1-year commitment requested.
• Strong clinical insight and critical thinking.
• Must have reliable transportation and CA driver’s license/insurance.
• Complete RBT certification within 90 days.

• Be fun, energetic, and motivating for the children and families served.
• Provide skills training and/or behavioral therapy to children.
• Full time and part-time hours available.
• Travel between client homes within the San Jose area.
• Maintain accurate therapy notes and data summaries.
• Provide progress feedback to parents/caregivers.

Job Requirements:

• Have experience working in a Preschool, Daycare or Nanny with small children infancy to 3 years old.
• BA/BS highly preferred with 1 year experience with working with Children
• Available primarily in the afternoons on multiple days per week; able to maintain consistent schedule; Commit to 1 year of employment
• Possess strong clinical insight, and critical thinking skills
• Reliable transportation and valid CA driver's license and driver's insurance
• Complete RBT certification in 90 days

Physical Demands:

• Full physical dexterity/agility to perform required movements (bending, kneeling, typing, etc.).
• Sufficient vision to carry out duties.
• Ability to lift and carry pediatric clients (5 to 50 lbs.).

Job Responsibilities:
