Job summary

Englewood Health in Englewood, NJ, is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) to deliver direct patient care in accordance with established policies. The role includes coordinating care across disciplines, documenting in the EHR, and communicating with patients and families to ensure a positive care experience.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that leads to a positive patient care experience by evaluating, planning and implementing effective plans of care and communicating with patients and families.
• Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care in acute or clinic settings.
• Make sound decisions in response to changes in condition or treatment while maintaining calm demeanor.
• Utilize the Electronic Health Record to document patient care.
• Coordinate with physicians and team members regarding changes in patient status, symptoms, test results and critical values.
