Job summary

Unitek Learning in California seeks per diem nursing instructors to join its clinical education teams. The role requires on-site collaboration with students and staff, supervision of clinical experiences, grading and reporting, and ongoing communication with faculty.

Per diem schedule is 2-3 days per week during an 8-week term, with opportunities for remote/onsite engagement as needed. Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, a Master of Nursing or higher, and have clinical teaching

Qualifications

• Hold a valid, active license issued by the State Board of Registered Nursing.
• Master of Nursing or higher degree including coursework in nursing or education.
• Clinical teaching experience within the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and grade examinations; participate in final evaluations.
• Ensure class attendance and timely submission of grades.
• Plan orientation for new faculty and supervise clinical experiences.
• Use adult learning principles and continuously improve instruction quality.
• Provide in-person and remote access for student communication.
• Maintain student records and assist with program data collection.
• Submit required reports to program leadership and ensure safety regulations are followed.
• Collaborate on committee activities and attend faculty meetings.
