Qualifications

• Unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in Texas.
• Master's or doctoral degree in nursing.
• Minimum of two years of RN experience, within the last five years.
• Minimum of four years of full-time clinical nursing experience.
• Prior teaching experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Teach BSN and VN courses, assess and grade coursework.
• Mentor students, coordinate with Dean and faculty.
• Develop and evaluate curriculum; create lectures and materials.
• Maintain Canvas syllabi and course content.
• Coordinate clinical site experiences and simulations.
• Record and report student progress and grades on time.
• Participate in faculty meetings and program activities.
