Job summary

Unitek College in Reno, NV is seeking a BSN Instructor on a full-time or per diem basis who must hold an MSN. The position offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within a collegiate teaching environment.

Responsibilities include delivering instruction, supervising and evaluating students in labs and clinicals, maintaining records, and collaborating with the Program Director, Academic Dean, and nursing leadership to ensure program quality and compliance

Qualifications

• 4 years of RN experience with active license.
• MSN degree required and BRN eligibility in state of work.
• Experience mentoring students and strong written/verbal communication.
• Knowledge of teaching methods and clinical instruction.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate instruction and evaluate student learning for clinicals, labs, and SCE.
• Supervise and debrief students in lab, clinical, and SCE settings.
• Maintain attendance, grades, FERPA compliance, and student records.
• Coordinate with Program Director and Academic Dean regarding schedules.
• Plan and supervise student clinical experiences in health care facilities.
