Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, invites applications for Adjunct Clinical Instructor openings in the BSN program for the 2026-2027 Academic Year. Adjunct instructors provide clinical instruction, supervision, and evaluation of undergraduate nursing students across various settings.

These positions are one-semester, non-tenure-line appointments with potential for reappointment based on program needs and funding. Applications accepted on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required; doctoral degree preferred.
• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Recent clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Previous teaching or clinical instruction experience is desirable.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach and supervise undergraduate nursing clinical courses and/or laboratory experiences as assigned.
• Facilitate student learning and help students integrate nursing theory into clinical practice.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain effective communication with course coordinators, faculty, clinical agency personnel, and students.
• Ensure compliance with program, college, university, and clinical agency requirements.
• Adjunct instructors normally teach one to two clinical sections per semester, based on program needs.
