Job summary

The University of St. Thomas is seeking experienced nurse educators to join the BSN program as adjunct faculty for didactic, lab/simulation, and clinical experiences. Positions cover didactic courses, labs, and clinicals, with in-person instruction primarily and possible evening/weekend hours.

Ideal candidates hold MSN or higher degrees, have at least two years of BSN teaching, and hold Texas RN licensure or eligibility. Commitment to ERDs and diversity in teaching is essential.

Qualifications

• MSN, PhD, or DNP degree completed or in process.
• Minimum of 2 years BSN program teaching experience.
• Current RN licensure in Texas or eligibility to obtain it.
• Commitment to teaching diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Didactic teaching in person using Blackboard.
• Oversight of course sections and content development as needed.
• May include evening and/or weekend hours.
• Respond to learners within 24–48 business hours.
• Course content updates and revision as required.
• Online teaching experience for didactic courses is a plus.
