California State University - East Bay is seeking a BSBA Associate Academic Advisor & Graduate Programs Assistant to provide academic advising and support for their Online BSBA Self-Support Program. Starting salary will depend on qualifications and experience and is anticipated to be in the range of $5,083.00 per month to $6,155.00 per month.

Student Services Professional II
The BSBA Associate Academic Advisor & Graduate Programs Assistant (Self‑Support Programs) provides academic advising and basic program support for the Online BSBA Self‑Support Program and assists with coordination for Self‑Support Graduate Programs within the College of Business & Economics (CBE).
Working under general guidance, the incumbent supports Online BSBA students by assisting with academic planning, course selection, and understanding degree requirements and progress toward graduation, following established guidelines and procedures. The position serves as a resource for students on program requirements, providing routine advising support, referring complex issues to senior advising staff, and connecting students with appropriate campus services as needed.
The incumbent also provides administrative support for graduate program coordination activities, assisting with established processes related to degree checks, documentation, and student records. This role collaborates with faculty, staff, Extended Education, and campus partners to support program operations and ensure accuracy of student information.

Experience: Equivalent to two years of professional experience in one of the student services program areas or in a related field; a master’s degree in a job‑related field may be substituted for one year of professional experience.
Education: Equivalent to graduation from a four‑year college or university in one of the behavioral sciences, public or business administration or a job‑related field. Additional specialized experience may be substituted for the required education on a year‑for‑year basis.
Satisfactory completion of a background check (including LiveScan, as appropriate) and verification of academic credentials, licenses, certificates, credit history, professional references, and/or work history is required for employment. Cal State East Bay will issue a conditional offer of employment to the selected candidate, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information. Unsatisfactory results may also affect the continued employment of current Cal State East Bay employees who were conditionally offered the position.
