Job summary

First National Bank of Central Texas seeks a BSA/AML Compliance Analyst to investigate transaction monitoring alerts, document findings, and analyze suspicious activity. You will prepare CTRs and perform OFAC screening, while reviewing CIP/CDD/EDD exceptions and supporting BSA audits and examinations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, criminal justice, or related field preferred.
• Banking, compliance, audit, fraud prevention or BSA/AML experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of banking operations and consumer compliance regulations preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while functioning effectively within a team environment.

• Perform OFAC screening reviews and research potential matches.
• Review Customer Identification Program (CIP), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) exceptions.
• Monitor customer transactions for unusual or suspicious activity.
• Assist with BSA risk assessments and monitoring programs.
• Support BSA audits and regulatory examinations.
• Maintain investigative and monitoring documentation.
• Serve as a resource on BSA, AML, OFAC, and related compliance topics.
