We are currently seeking a BSA/AMLOFAC Compliance Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time remote role. The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience necessary to:

1. Review alerts for all new and existing customers and related beneficial owners against lists such as OFAC, Section 311 of USA PATRIOT Act, TEL, and BIS. Confirm matches and forward verified cases to the EDD team.
2. Understand OFAC sanctions and related red flags associated with regulations like BSA, FATCA, UDAAP. Communicate with branches to resolve exceptions.
3. Write communications to close alerts or document exceptions.
4. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of experience in banking, BSA/AML compliance, or related fields. A combination of education and experience is acceptable.
2. Knowledge of audit review processes.
3. Understanding of BSA/AML compliance, especially OFAC regulations.
4. Research, verification, analytical, customer service, and communication skills.
5. Ability to manage deadlines, be organized, detail-oriented, and accurate, with multitasking skills.
6. Ability to meet performance expectations, including SLAs and QA reviews.
7. Effective communication skills with compliance and branch staff.
8. Proficiency with computer tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
