Job summary

Farmers & Merchants Bank of Long Beach is seeking a BSA/OFAC Analyst in California to support the Bank’s BSA/AML/OFAC program and monitor activities for compliance. You will identify, investigate, and escalate unusual activity, assist with risk assessments, training, and regulatory examinations.

Ideal candidates have at least five years in banking with BSA/AML/OFAC experience, CAMS preferred, and strong analytical and communication skills to protect the bank’s integrity and regulatory standing.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of banking experience with customer service focus.
• Five+ years in BSA/AML and OFAC compliance within a financial institution.
• CAMS certification preferred; certification may be required within a specified timeframe after hire.

Responsibilities

• Identify, investigate, and escalate unusual or suspicious activity.
• Review real-time wire transfers, ACH transactions for matches against OFAC lists.
• Provide guidance on regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
• Assist with risk assessments, audits, and regulatory examinations.
• Maintain thorough documentation of investigations and regulatory reporting.
