Job summary

This on-site role reports to the VP, BSA Officer and supports the bank’s BSA program, including CIP, CDD, Beneficial Ownership, OFAC, and recordkeeping. The position emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and timely escalation of suspicious activity.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of teller and/or customer service banking experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word required.

Responsibilities

• Review reports and analyze transactions to detect suspicious activities and escalate as needed.
• Ensure implementation of BSA Program components including CIP, CDD, Beneficial Ownership, OFAC, and recordkeeping.
• Assess regulatory and internal compliance regarding BSA operations, monitoring and control systems.
• Review and file Currency Transaction Reports weekly.
• Complete bi-weekly 314(a) reporting.
• Perform required CDD and EDD reviews.
• Monitor fraud and BSA software for suspicious activity in bank accounts.
• Maintain current, accurate BSA files and documentation.
• Research banking laws/regulations and inform management of changes.
