Job summary

First Bank in Clewiston, FL is seeking a BSA/Compliance support role to assist the BSA Officer by monitoring data to detect suspicious activity and perform enhanced due diligence during a six-month training assignment.

This on-site position reports to the VP, BSA Officer and covers reviewing reports, ensuring CIP, CDD, OFAC compliance, and maintaining accurate BSA records while handling related investigations and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret government regulations and legal documents.
• Motivated self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Computer literate and proficient with spreadsheet programs.

Responsibilities

• Review reports and analyze transactions to detect suspicious activity and escalate as needed.
• Ensure implementation and adherence to BSA program including CIP, CDD, Beneficial Ownership, OFAC and recordkeeping.
• Monitor fraud and BSA software to investigate suspicious activity across accounts.
• Research federal and state banking laws, inform departments about compliance changes.
• Maintain current, accurate BSA files and documentation.
