Job description

The Assistant Tennis Coach reports to the Head Women’s Tennis Coach and carries responsibility for all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division III women’s tennis program. In this role, supporting andassistingthe tennis team in all areas are key to developing a competitive and successful program in support of the College’s scholar-athlete approach to collegiate athletics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assistwith all aspects of training, hitting sessions,home and away matches,goal setting, and other individual player development needs.
• Collaborate withstrength and conditioning and athletic trainingto prepare scholar-athletefor peak performance.
• Support scholar-athletes in their pursuit of balancing their academic and athletic priorities.
• Assistin all areas ofrecruiting qualifiedscholar-athletes.

DURATION OF POSITION
Traditional Spring Season:24 hours/week, for 6 weeks (mid Marchthrough the end of April).

PAY RATE
$1800

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Mustbe 21 years of age or older.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Collegiate playing experience and/or coaching experience on high school or college level.
• Exceptional communication skills.
