NSC Staffing is seeking experienced Marine Brush & Roll Painters for shipyard work in Newport News, VA. Candidates must have experience applying marine coatings, preparing surfaces, and working safely in an industrial shipyard environment.

You will prep surfaces, apply epoxy and non-epoxy coatings, monitor coating thickness, and follow safety procedures while working in confined spaces and elevated areas. This role offers steady shifts across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, with competitive hourly pay of

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of marine brush and roll painting experience.
• Experience with epoxy and non-epoxy coatings.
• Knowledge of surface preparation and power tool operation.
• Ability to wear required respiratory protection.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and squat.
• Availability to work any shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and using power tools.
